Welcome to KeyQuest Services LLC. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of keyquestfinancialservices.com, our client and partner portals, online forms, appointment systems, tax education materials, professional tax software programs, electronic communications, and related services.
By accessing our website, submitting a form, purchasing a service, enrolling in a program, or using any KeyQuest platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
KeyQuest Services LLC provides individual and business tax preparation, tax education, professional tax software access, tax business training, mentorship, ERO support, service bureau partnerships, and related professional resources.
Certain services are subject to additional agreements, eligibility requirements, credential verification, engagement letters, software licenses, banking agreements, and program policies. If an additional agreement conflicts with these Terms, the terms of the more specific agreement will control for that service.
The information available on this website is provided for general informational and educational purposes. Website content should not be treated as individualized tax, legal, accounting, financial, or investment advice.
Tax laws, regulations, software requirements, banking products, and IRS procedures may change. KeyQuest does not guarantee that general website content will address every visitor’s circumstances. You should consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on your specific financial, tax, or business situation.
Tax preparation services begin only after KeyQuest accepts the engagement and the taxpayer completes all required intake forms, identity verification, disclosures, and engagement documents.
Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely information. KeyQuest may rely on the information and documents provided without independently auditing or verifying every item. Clients must review their completed return and confirm its accuracy before authorizing electronic filing.
KeyQuest does not guarantee a refund, credit, deduction, advance, acceptance, processing time, audit result, penalty reduction, or other tax outcome. Refund amounts and processing times are determined by the Internal Revenue Service, state tax agencies, financial institutions, and the taxpayer’s individual circumstances.
KeyQuest may decline or discontinue an engagement when information is incomplete, inconsistent, unsupported, potentially fraudulent, or provided after an applicable deadline. Additional tax preparation terms may be included in a separate engagement letter.
KeyQuest tax education is intended to strengthen professional knowledge and support responsible tax preparation. Completing a course or training program does not create employment, guarantee professional competency, provide an IRS credential, or guarantee approval for a PTIN, EFIN, AFSP Record of Completion, software account, banking product, or KeyQuest partnership.
Participants remain responsible for maintaining their credentials, completing required continuing education, researching current tax law, exercising professional judgment, and complying with all applicable federal and state requirements.
Educational materials may not be copied, recorded, reproduced, distributed, resold, shared, or used to create competing training products without written permission from KeyQuest.
Enrollment in a KeyQuest tax business program is subject to application review, identity verification, credential verification, training requirements, and approval.
Program descriptions and package information are provided to explain available features. Software access, revenue arrangements, mentorship, bank products, support levels, compliance reviews, and service bureau opportunities depend on the selected package and signed agreement.
Revenue splits refer only to eligible tax preparation fees unless a written agreement states otherwise. Bank fees, software fees, transmitter fees, enrollment fees, protection products, financial product fees, chargebacks, rejected disbursements, and other expenses may be handled separately.
KeyQuest does not guarantee earnings, client volume, refund-product approvals, business growth, EFIN approval, service bureau approval, or any specific financial result. Each participant is responsible for marketing, client service, credential maintenance, security, due diligence, return accuracy, and compliance with applicable laws and program requirements.
Any person preparing or assisting in preparing federal tax returns for compensation must maintain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number when required by law.
Partners operating under their own EFIN are responsible for maintaining their IRS e-file authorization and complying with applicable IRS requirements. Preparers permitted to work under a KeyQuest EFIN must follow KeyQuest procedures, training requirements, security standards, due diligence policies, and return review processes.
Access to an EFIN, tax software, or electronic filing privileges may be suspended or terminated if credentials expire, required documentation is not provided, security concerns arise, program policies are violated, or KeyQuest reasonably believes continued access could create compliance or operational risk.
Software access is provided according to the selected program, applicable licensing terms, and provider requirements. Software features, integrations, supported forms, availability, and technical requirements may change.
Users are responsible for safeguarding login credentials, enabling available security controls, limiting access to authorized personnel, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
A software license or account may not be transferred, shared, resold, duplicated, sublicensed, or used by an unauthorized person. KeyQuest may suspend access when required to protect taxpayer information, preserve system security, investigate suspected misuse, or comply with a provider or legal requirement.
Refund transfers, refund advances, loyalty advances, prepaid cards, check-printing services, and similar products are offered by third-party financial institutions.
KeyQuest does not make credit decisions and cannot guarantee approval, funding, timing, or advance amounts. Product availability, eligibility, fees, repayment terms, and disclosures are determined by the participating financial institution.
Tax professionals must present all required disclosures accurately and must not describe an advance as a refund or guaranteed payment.
Prices displayed on the website are starting prices unless expressly stated otherwise. Final pricing may depend on return complexity, required forms, software selection, package level, additional services, and the condition of records provided.
Payment is due according to the invoice, checkout page, engagement letter, or program agreement. KeyQuest may delay work, withhold deliverables, restrict access, or suspend services when payment is past due.
Clients and partners are responsible for reviewing all charges before submitting payment. Payment disputes should be reported promptly to [email protected].
Tax preparation fees compensate KeyQuest for professional time, review, research, preparation, and related services. Once substantial work has begun, fees may be nonrefundable except where required by law or stated in a written agreement.
Digital products, downloadable materials, templates, courses, software activation fees, setup services, and completed onboarding services are generally nonrefundable because access or performance is provided immediately.
Program fees and partnership payments are governed by the applicable signed agreement. Failure to complete training, provide requested documents, use purchased resources, obtain credentials, attract clients, or achieve a desired business outcome does not automatically qualify a purchaser for a refund.
Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method when reasonably possible.
Clients and partners are responsible for attending scheduled appointments on time. Rescheduling and cancellation requirements may be provided when an appointment is booked.
A discovery call does not create a tax preparation, employment, preparer, ERO, or service bureau relationship. A professional relationship begins only after KeyQuest accepts the engagement and all required agreements and payments are completed.
By submitting your email address or telephone number, you authorize KeyQuest to send communications related to your inquiry, appointment, account, purchase, tax service, application, onboarding, or partnership.
Electronic communications may include appointment confirmations, document requests, filing updates, payment reminders, account notifications, software notices, training information, support responses, and other service-related messages.
Marketing emails and text messages will be sent only when permitted by law and consistent with the consent provided.
When you separately opt in to receive text messages from KeyQuest Services, you consent to receive SMS or MMS messages at the telephone number you provided. Messages may be sent using automated technology.
Depending on the form or program through which you opted in, messages may include appointment reminders, client service updates, tax filing notifications, document requests, payment reminders, account alerts, onboarding information, training updates, support messages, and promotional offers.
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services. Message frequency varies based on your relationship with KeyQuest and the services you request. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE. You may also request that messages stop by contacting KeyQuest through another reasonable method. KeyQuest will honor valid revocation requests within the time required by applicable law.
After opting out, you may receive one confirmation message acknowledging your request. No additional marketing text messages will be sent unless you provide new consent.
Reply HELP for assistance or contact KeyQuest at 888-522-3448 or [email protected]. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
If your telephone number changes, is disconnected, or is reassigned, you agree to notify KeyQuest promptly. You may not provide a telephone number that you do not own or have authority to use.
KeyQuest does not sell or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except service providers that assist in delivering messages or when disclosure is required by law.
Text messaging may not be available through every carrier or in every location. Delivery depends on your wireless provider, device, network availability, and other factors outside KeyQuest’s control.
Tax documents, Social Security numbers, bank account information, identity documents, and other sensitive information should not be sent through standard text messages. Clients must use the secure portal or another approved secure method.
Your use of the website and services is also subject to the KeyQuest Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, protected, and disclosed.
Although KeyQuest uses reasonable safeguards, no website, email system, text messaging service, or electronic transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their passwords, devices, email accounts, and portal credentials.
You may use the website and KeyQuest platforms only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with system operations, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, submit false information, misuse taxpayer data, copy protected materials, or use KeyQuest services to violate tax, privacy, consumer protection, or communications laws.
KeyQuest may investigate suspected misuse and restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect its clients, partners, systems, or legal obligations.
The KeyQuest name, logos, website content, training materials, templates, videos, downloads, program designs, graphics, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to KeyQuest Services LLC.
Purchasing or accessing a service does not transfer ownership of KeyQuest intellectual property. Users receive only the limited right to use materials for the purpose and period authorized by KeyQuest.
The website and KeyQuest programs may use or link to third-party providers, including tax software companies, banks, payment processors, electronic signature platforms, CRM systems, communication providers, and government websites.
KeyQuest does not control and is not responsible for every third party’s availability, policies, security, decisions, or performance. Use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider’s separate terms and privacy policy.
To the extent permitted by law, the website, educational content, software access, and general resources are provided on an “as available” basis. KeyQuest does not warrant that every service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every individual or business purpose.
Nothing on the website constitutes a promise of tax savings, income, client volume, business success, credential approval, loan approval, refund amount, or regulatory outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KeyQuest Services LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of the website, educational materials, third-party services, delayed communications, business decisions, or unauthorized account access.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Service-specific liability terms may also appear in the applicable engagement letter, software agreement, or partnership agreement.
You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, or expenses resulting from your unlawful use of the website, violation of these Terms, misuse of taxpayer information, infringement of another party’s rights, or failure to comply with obligations applicable to your tax business.
This provision applies only to the extent permitted by law.
KeyQuest may suspend or terminate website, portal, software, program, or partnership access when a user violates these Terms, fails to pay required fees, provides false information, misuses confidential data, creates a security risk, loses required credentials, or fails to comply with an applicable agreement.
Termination does not eliminate payment obligations, confidentiality requirements, intellectual property restrictions, or other provisions intended to continue after termination.
KeyQuest may revise these Terms as services, technology, legal requirements, or business practices change. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the website or services after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of GEORGIA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in the courts with proper jurisdiction unless a separate signed agreement provides another dispute-resolution process.
